CLEAR EXPECTATIONS. CONSIDERED CHOICES.

Terms & conditions.

A clear basis for using our website and exploring what AIHI can do for your organisation.

Last updated: 11 September 2026

This website helps you explore AIHI and your readiness. An enquiry does not create a paid engagement. Deliverables, fees, responsibilities and project data arrangements are agreed separately in writing.

About these terms

These terms cover the AIHI website, readiness assessment and Ask AIHI. AIHI — AI for Humanitarian Impact — is the brand of AIHIC LIMITED. Contact saif@aihi.org.uk with questions.

Use the website only if you accept these terms. If you act for an organisation, ensure you are authorised to share its information and make requests on its behalf.

Responsible use

You may browse, use the assessment and make genuine enquiries. Share only information you are authorised to provide. Do not attempt unauthorised access, disrupt the service, evade usage limits, introduce malicious software, impersonate others or use the service unlawfully.

Keep confidential client material, donor or beneficiary records, passwords and sensitive personal data out of forms and chat. This website is for professional enquiries, not for children to submit personal information.

Assessments and AI guidance

The readiness assessment is a self-reported starting point, not an independent benchmark, audit, certification or guarantee of suitability, security or regulatory compliance.

Ask AIHI provides guided website answers or AI-generated replies, as labelled. AI responses can be incomplete or inaccurate. Check sources and confirm material project, legal, financial or technical decisions with an appropriately qualified person. The assistant cannot make binding commitments, access client systems, approve a project or agree a price for AIHI.

Enquiries and paid engagements

Submitting a form, sharing results or chatting does not create a contract for paid services or guarantee that AIHI can accept a project. Scope, fees, milestones, responsibilities, intellectual property, confidentiality, support and data processing are agreed in a separate written contract.

Examples describe their stated stage. Prototypes, illustrative interfaces and intended outcomes are not promises of live functionality or verified results for your organisation. Client-specific agreements take precedence for that engagement.

Content and intellectual property

AIHI branding, original content and original tools belong to AIHI or its licensors. Third-party photographs, software and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.

You may read, link to and share public pages, and print your readiness result for internal planning. Do not present AIHI’s content or brand as your own, imply an endorsement or commercially redistribute our materials without permission. Separate licences and statutory rights continue to apply.

Availability and external links

We aim to keep information useful and the site available, but content and functionality may change. Access may be suspended for maintenance, security, misuse or legal reasons. Keep your own copy of information you need.

External operators are responsible for their websites, availability and policies. Review their terms before using an external service.

Responsibility and liability

Use website guidance with appropriate independent judgement. To the extent permitted by applicable law, AIHI is not responsible for business losses caused by relying on general website or AI-generated information without validating it for your circumstances.

Nothing excludes or limits liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or responsibilities that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Applicable statutory rights remain unaffected.

Privacy and your information

Our Política de privacidad explains information handling. Our Política de cookies explains browser storage. Accepting these terms does not give consent to optional storage or marketing.

Changes and questions

We may update these terms to reflect changes to the website or applicable requirements. The date above identifies this version. Updates do not retrospectively change a signed client contract.

These website terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, subject to mandatory protections where you live. Jurisdiction provisions in a signed client agreement apply to that agreement. Contact saif@aihi.org.uk so we can first try to resolve questions or concerns.
